Mr. MacCarthy Mac-Gbathy is a young entrepreneur who has overseen 54 startups since 2013, he has founded HOPin Academy, one of the top innovation ESO’s in Ghana , based in northern Ghana to serve the entrepreneurial and startup scene in Ghana most especially the northern Ghana. He serves on the
Executive Board of the Ghana Hubs Network as the Communication Director, this network has over 50 hub network members in the 16 regions of Ghana, he also serves on a number of boards globally.
He has left a footprint by providing direct employment and entrepreneurial training opportunities to hundreds of youths around the country. His strong will and commitment to seeing society a better place are evident in the numerous opportunities he has provided for himself and countless youths. He is also the founder of HOPin Tech Solutions, M&Mxpress Travel, and Tour, Agri Transport as all of which provide unique solutions and employ innovative approaches towards identifying and solving pertinent societal
problems.
He acts as a consultant in relation to entrepreneurship policies to the Ghanaian government and other stakeholders and policymakers in Ghana, mostly working with the Ministry for Business Development now under the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the country. He travels a lot to both African and European nations to network, dialogue, learn and provide advice on entrepreneurship, business, technological inclusion, and the growing innovation.
