Ibrahim-Tanko has been involved in development management, civil society strengthening and social development for nearly 20 years. He has extensive experiences in strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning, institutional and capacity strengthening at all levels of governance, policy influencing, people management and funds management. He has led in the development and implementation of social development and governance programmes and projects at all levels of governance, ranging from the Ghanaian-Danish Communities Programme (Programme Coordinator) focusing on integrated rural development to the $36m multi-donor pooled fund programme, STAR-Ghana (Team Leader and Programme Manager).
